Get in the holiday spirit as Novaparke, Destination Georgetown, The Root, and the Floyd County Parks and Recreation Department present Christmas in the County. Enjoy a vendor market, pictures with Santa, food trucks, music, a movie and more! It all happens at Novaparke located at 111 Innovation Parkway in Georgetown. Bring your family friends and start your Christmas holiday season with a smile!
Market vendors who would like to participate can fill out the application below. Deadline to register is Monday, December 2, 2024.
This application is for interested market vendors only, not food or drink trucks or vendors.
PAYMENT POLICY
All vendors must pre-pay, meaning the vendor fee must be paid following the approval of this application. Approved vendors will receive an email from Floyd County Parks and Recreation within 48-hours of the completion of this form. This event will happen rain or shine; there will be no refunds.
FEES
A 10-foot by 10-foot space is $25. This will be the only fee collected from market vendors. All fees should be paid directly to Floyd County Parks and Recreation. There is no admission or tickets needed for the general public to enter.
SETUP
Vendors can begin the load-in process at 1 p.m. Vendors must supply their own equipment for load-in.
OPERATING HOURS
This event will open to public attendees at 3-7 p.m. and promptly conclude at 7 p.m. Vendors are required to remain open until 7 p.m. Early departures must be pre-approved by staff.
CANOPIES/TENTS
No indoor space is available. Vendors choosing to use a canopy or tent must attach a 30-pound weight to each leg and follow all Indiana Fire Code regulations. Vendors are responsible for the safety and security of their area, including money and merchandise. Vendors must supply their own canopy, tent, tables, chairs, etc.
FIRE CODE
Vendors must adhere to all state and local fire code requirements. Pre-event inspections will take place.
RAFFLES & DRAWINGS
Vendors who wish to conduct raffles, drawing or other giveaways during the event must contact the Indiana Charity Gaming Division and provide copy of permit with attached application.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Vendors must clearly display the name of their business or organization. Vendors must sell only within the 10 x 10 boundary of their setup. No alcohol, glass bottles, radios, sound systems, speakers, etc. Vendors must post a sign that clearly reads: “No Smoking, including Electronic Cigarettes.” Vendors must supply one (1) five-pound or two (2) two-and-a-half-pound fire extinguishers.
TEARDOWN
Vendors must remove all of their items immediately at the conclusion of the event. Vendors are required to remove all supplies, equipment, merchandise, trash, etc. in a timely fashion Cardboard must be broken down. Liquids and/or grease must not be disposed of on county property, including gutters, grates, sewers, roadways, grass areas, trash cans, etc.
PRE-EVENT COMMUNICATION
Floyd County Parks and Recreation will communicate general event updates and reminders to vendors via email. Please insure the email address you submit is entered correctly and up-to-date.
